Beliefs
At Cole Elementary we believe:

  • All students must feel safe and comfortable to learn and meet their potential.
  • Teaching strategies should be researched based, proven effective and adapted for all learning styles.
  • All educators have the responsibility to set high, realistic expectations and to equip their students with the tools to reach them.
  • All people can and deserve to be educated.
  • The quality and quantity of time directly affects learning.
  • Cole faculty, parents, and community leaders all play a role in developing students into exemplary model citizens.
  • In order for successful learning to take place, cooperation and collaboration are essential.

Cole Elementary, as a multicultural and diverse learning community, strives to prepare each student for academic, social, and personal success by providing a safe, supportive, challenging and meaningful environment through quality instruction and adherence to the Tennessee State Standards for Education.

Our vision is for Cole Elementary is that all students achieve individual proficiency and excellence academically, socially, and personally.
